Four Questions that will Change your Relationship to your Context

One powerful practice from this morning: "Clean Slate," a reflective exercise that resets our relationship with The System (however we might define it). After we spent time reflecting on our answers to the following four questions, we chatted with our neighbors for another twenty minutes and compared notes.

First, define the system with which you have a relationship you'd like to change. (Siraj, the creative force behind this exercise, encourages as broad a view of the system as possible.) Then take ten minutes to answer the following four questions:

  1. How has the system failed me?
  2. How has the system enabled me?
  3. How have I failed the system?
  4. How have I enabled the system?

------

What insights arise as a result of the interrelationships between these questions? Now, what will you do with these insights?
