Prometheus Soulmate

Prometheus Soulmate:

All,
effort was futile,
when
the hunger was just
insatiable,
my love

And,
life, that cruel
friend of yours
and mine,
laughed at me
loudly,
my love.

Until,
every soul here
receives their divine
share, I waited
my love

And
Patience, your
girl friday
was not at all kind
to me,
my love.

Every,
chance arrow
I risked,
pierced back my heart,
my love

And
Cupid, that stupid
matchmaker
failed me in
every which way,
my love.

There,
was no two ways
to look
at this wretched story,
my love

And
Prometheus himself,
could not save
the human race,
my love.
